The promise from the Father to us as spoken by Jesus is that we would receive power WHEN the Holy Spirit comes upon us. Power present not power absent! It seems that the church has operated in powerlessness rather than power that brings lasting change. When the Father does a work among His people it is supposed to last a life time because we are operating in the new covenant with an unfading glory. That covenant is given to us by the Father and the Son through the Holy Spirit. It was the Father’s intent all along for us to operate in the new covenant of His Spirit, that is where the power is operating. Sadly we have been content to live without it, however there is a holy discontent among believers that is fueling a change. I sense a change on the horizon! Change is coming rapidly!
The Lord is setting the church up for a hostile takeover of Holy Spirit. We are entering a sudden encounter of Holy Spirit that will mark and release His sons and daughters with new power for Kingdom purposes. That is what the book of Acts was all about, so we are seeing Pentecost CONTINUE in this time. We are going back to the future of the church! There is no need for another Pentecost because the first one has never ended. Some have chosen not to believe and live in the power of Holy Spirit in their own lives, but the power has always been there operating in those people of faith and obedience to Holy Spirit. You see He has been operating since Pentecost but many have not tapped into what He is doing. Just because you haven’t experienced it doesn’t mean that it is not present and operating, it means that you have not been present and operating in it! You have to be present in order to experience the Presence, you have to show up in order to see Him show out. Sadly, there will be some that will not go where Holy Spirit is operating therefore they will be like Thomas who did not believe until he saw for himself, But Jesus said blessed are those that have not seen and yet believe.
The delay and arrested development is over and NOW is the fresh release of the Spirit, so that Jesus may receive His full reward. Only God can break the arrested development in our lives but we must cooperate with Him. It is much better for us to work with Him than for Him. I do not want to miss it! The development of the Spirit is happening today, not tomorrow or another day, right now! Present Power.
God is dropping a Holy Spirit bomb on us. This Holy Spirit bomb will produce a Holy chaos that will release fresh manifestations of the Spirit and power on us. Slick sermons and fleshly performances will be replaced by demonstrations of the Spirit and power, not owned by man but by God himself. He is interested in His agenda for the church as well as the demonstration of His Kingdom power, on earth as it is in heaven! The Lord is fulfilling the Lord’s Prayer in this time, so look for heaven to invade earth and bring the necessary change IN US.
The yesterday of the superstars has passed and NOW the fresh move of His Spirit is taking the church forward in advancing the Kingdom and preparing the bride for the coming of the Lord! This is a dress rehearsal for heaven! The Lord has taken many to heaven for them to taste and see what He is doing and has brought them back to bring change in the earth. We are training for reigning! This move of the Spirit is impacting humanity for the Good not the Bad. Some see the move of the Spirit as a bad thing and many church leaders fear the move of Holy Spirit as if it will destroy. Well it will destroy their works, wood hay and stubble, but it will solidify His work, gold silver and precious stones, that is His intention!
